Mac 'n' Stuff

This is a recipe I started making some time ago that's great for lunch or dinner. And what's so great is it can be changed to fit any taste!

What you will need:

  • Elbow macaroni, Penne, Rigatoni or whatever dry pasta you prefer.

  • Frozen or fresh veggies of your choice; I use peas, corn, and baby carrots

  • Lotsa cheese! You can use any kind!

  • Milk and butter

  • Lunch or deli meat, chopped into bite size pieces

How to prepare:

Cook pasta as directed on the package. For al dente pasta, shorten cooking time. If you are using frozen vegetables, cook them now. Otherwise, set them aside! (Don't want them getting soggy!)

Once you have cooked and drained your pasta and vegetables, place pasta back in the pot. Turn the stove on low heat, add a bit of butter for taste and to prevent pasta from sticking.

Next, add your cheese! Shredded cheese works best for this because it will make it extra creamy! Add alllll the cheese you want and slowly mix in milk until you have reached the desired consistency.

Now, add vegetables! If you used canned, be sure you drained all the liquid off of them. Add your meat and gently mix in.

Done! See, that was easy! And you have a good meal that has all the sides mixed in!
